That is exactly what I am. Finding a summer job in NYC has come to be very stressful. I am overwhelmed and don't know where to turn to, what to do, and how to do anything. It certainly isn't helpful that I don't have a degree in anything and haven't even begun my major yet. Who wants to hire a Joe Shmoe for a 12 week period who has no direction yet? It's very discouraging, but I am trying not to think like that and am trying to continue to be hopeful and work hard to find something. We'll see.
In the meantime, if any of you have any suggestions, connections, etc. PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! I am looking for any paying summer job in Manhattan in pretty much ANY field. Any help whatsoever is appreciated.

if it comes down to the wire just get any job, literally. work at a place close to where you live like a clothing store or even Barnes and Noble or something. it doesnt have to be a super crazy job.
