You'll Be Shocked.

As many of you know I have had an addiction to Diet Coke for quite some time. This was enhanced even more upon moving to SLC where there is a Sev on every corner [Sev = Seven Eleven, for those of you not familiar]. It would not be rare for me to have 2 or 3 big gulps a day and an occasional can somewhere along the way too. SO, since I've dedicated this summer to making myself healthier I thought it would be great to lower my Diet Coke intake - I've heard you lose weight when you stop drinking it [which I don't believe is true and never have], but I do think you are healthier sticking to water. Well, I've got news for you. Guess how many DC's I am down to...Take a guess...Are you ready???

one a week

AMAZING, I know! And that is meaning one CAN not one big gulp. This is the greatest accomplishment of my life it seems like!!! I can actually feel a difference now when I drink caffeine!!!!!!! Something that hasn't happened in YEARS! One can is almost too overwhelming for me, as far as carbonation, so it takes me a long time to drink the can. I am so happy!!! I drink at least 80 oz. of water a day now, which is great and I feel MUCH better not drinking so much DC. I don't have the headache's from withdrawals anymore, which is also good news. Anyway, just thought I'd share my recent accomplishment with you all! It only took 2 months to do it! Haha...

anyone who is familiar with your DC habits will have a hard time believing this. thats crazy!
