It's Been A While...

I realized today that I spend so much time reading Taylor and Drew's blog, that I almost forgot I had one. I need to start writing things more often so that all of you can enjoy the pointless things I have to say. Let's give you an update on the life of Lauren Rice.

The new semester has started and my classes are alright. Intro to Architecture, Survey of Jazz, US National Government, and Calculus are the classes I'm taking. Surprisingly...Calc is my favorite and almost my easiest class. Government is probably the most challenging. On top of my classes, I have moved into the Delta Gamma House. Living on Greek Row is just INSANE!!! There is always something going on and I am never bored. Living with 16 girls who I am extremely close with is pretty much the best thing I could ask for. (Not to mention we are about a hop skip and a jump away from each of the fraternities!). Also, we are planning to remodel the basement of our house this semester because I am house manager and have decided its about time to be cleaned up! Not only am I involved and obsessed with Greek Row, but I have decided to run for ASUU which is the U's student government. I am just running to be in the Assembly which is a very small role, but its a good way for my to get my foot in the door. I'm loving everything about life right now except for the -20 degree weather. It is SO cold walking to class at 8 in the morning!! I can't handle it. I miss the California weather!! Well, hopefully I'll visit CA sometime soon.

I will start keeping this blog more up to date and having to do with cooler things than before. Stay tuned.
